From The Heart is a trio from
Fredericktown, Ohio.
We sing Southern Gospel music
wherever
God will
allow us to go. Having sung at many
different events
including church services, benefits,
concerts, fairs,
banquets, nursing homes, our purpose is
to be a
witness to the lost of their need of the
Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ, while at the same time,
bring much
needed encouragement to those who are
saved during
these last days.
We have had the
pleasure to sing with many groups in
Southern Gospel
music, including
The Dixie Melody Boys, The Pine Ridge
Boys, The Prophets, The Spencers,
along with many
others.

INDIVIDUAL BIO'S
Annette Statzer is our group's soprano
singer. She has a very clear, crisp, high
end vocal that is a
delightful suprise to listen to. Annette
and husband,
Jerry, live in Butler, Ohio, where they live
and operate a
cattle and grain farm. Annette also owns
"Annette's
Victorian Garden", a beautiful floral shop
in Ashland,
Ohio. Ohio's Southern Gospel fans may
remember
Annette from her days of singing with the
"New Bethel
Quartet", more recently, "Source Of
Light",
and currently her family's acoustic-
folk/bluegrass
band,"Gospel Sounds", in which Annette
sings
and plays mandolin. She has received
formal vocal
training at the Steve Hurst School of
Music in
Tennessee.
Mary E. St.Clair is the lead/alto, singer
of the group,
from Fredericktown, Ohio, where she
resides with her
husband, Jon, and son, Quaid. She has a
wide vocal
range and can sing all parts. She learned
to sing as a
small child, under the influence of the
Comptons, her
grandfather's quartet. She is a versatile
performer,
having sang with nearly a dozen groups
whose styles
range from Bluegrass Gospel
to Country Gospel, to her
first love, Southern Gospel. Along with
From The Heart
Trio, she is currently active singing the
tenor/alto part
with The GloryWay Quartet, from
Mansfield, Ohio.
She is an accomplished guitar, bass, and
mandolin player. When she's not
singing, she also enjoys being a studio
vocalist and
musician, painting, working outside, and
taking care of
young children. Mary feels that her
calling, through
music, is to be an encourager.
We are pleased to announce the addition
of Kevin
Lyons to the group. Kevin, who sings
lead &
harmony with From The Heart Trio, comes
to us from
Marion, Ohio with an extensive
background in full
time Southern Gospel music ministry.
Kevin started
singing with his parents with their group,
the Garry
Lyons Family when he was a toddler, and
has been a
major part of their unique and strong
family blend for
over 30 years.
Kevin has toured extensivley as the tenor
vocalist
for several quartets and has filled in when
needed
for many more. Some of these groups
Kevin has shared
the stage with include The Kingsmen, Ed
Crawford and
the Mystery Men, The Blackwood Gospel
Quartet, and
The Northmen.
Kevin brings much enthusiasm and
experience to From
The Heart Trio.
When not singing, Kevin
can be found
officiating high school and college
basketball and baseball games.
